We are launching the project “Restoring Biodiversity in the Nida River Valley by Rebuilding Ecological Corridors and Increasing Soil Retention.” The project’s primary goal is to educate the public and promote ecological initiatives that support nature conservation and promote sustainable environmental management. The project also aims to raise awareness of the importance of biodiversity conservation and demonstrate the benefits of wetland restoration – both for nature and local communities.

Project activities will be implemented along approximately 39 km of the Nida River Valley, between the towns of Brzeźno and Pińczów. Plans include restoring natural habitats and the continuity of ecological corridors, which will enable better species migration and contribute to ecosystem recovery. A key element of the project is also improving the area’s water retention capacity, which will help retain water in the landscape and counteract the effects of drought and heavy rainfall.

The project also includes a series of informational and educational activities aimed at engaging local communities, institutions, and individuals interested in nature conservation. We will keep you updated on the website about upcoming events and the project’s progress.
